1 person dies from fatal Accomack County crash
8+ min ago (140+ words) One person died from a fatal car crash in Accomack County and five others were injured, according to a press release from Virginia State Police. The two-vehicle crash occurred at 2:07 p.m. on Nov. 28 on Route 13. A 2021 Nissan Versa was travelling northbound on Route 13 and crossed the median, striking a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado head-on. This happened near the intersection with Gillespie Lane. The driver of the Nissan Versa died at the scene. There were five people in the Chevrolet Silverado. The driver and one of the passengers had serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and were airlifted to a hospital. The three other passengers were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This crash remains under investigation. Police did not release any additional information, including the identity of the victim....
